Renovated Rodli Hall grand opening set for Feb. 3

January 16, 2020 - After an extensive renovation, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls is opening the doors of David Rodli Hall to the community.

The public is invited to attend an open house on Monday, Feb. 3, from 2-4:30 p.m. to celebrate the new space and renovations. There will be a brief program at 2:30 p.m. followed by tours of the building. Rodli Hall is located at the corner of E. Cascade Avenue and 6th Street. Free parking for the event is available in Pay 1 lot at the corner of 2nd and Spring streets.

Formerly UWRF’s center for student dining services, Rodli Hall, originally built in the 1960s, re-opens as a student success center. The renovated space now houses the university’s student centered services including 14 departments from six different buildings on campus.

Campus leaders, faculty, staff and students embraced the opportunity to bring essential resources under one roof.

“Rodli Hall has been intentionally redesigned to support student success, bringing departments and outstanding staff together under one roof to engage and support our students,” said UWRF Chancellor Dean Van Galen. “I know that students will enjoy the beautiful space as well as the access to opportunities and services provided in the new Rodli Hall.”

In addition to essential student support programs and services, there are also amenities in the remodeled space including a food area with a coffee shop and presentation rooms. Renovations for the modernized building began in 2018.
