Be You. Be an OL. Leave Your Mark.

Falcons, want to help make a difference for incoming students? Consider becoming an Orientation Leader (OL)! The Orientation Team values the leadership development of all students. We know that students who are involved on campus are more likely to succeed academically and graduate. We offer rewarding employment experiences that connect you to the UWRF community and help you build skills for your future.

What's an OL?

OLs exist to help welcome all students during New, Transfer and Adult Student Orientation. They play a vital role in helping new students and their families transition to UWRF by providing support and information about campus programs. As an OL, you'll have the potential to leave your mark on new students and get them excited about becoming #TheNextFalcon. You'll also have the opportunity to build your own leadership, communication and critical-thinking skills, all while having fun and making lasting memories.

So, what will I do?

As an OL, you'll work with new students and their families during our Orientation events. You'll assist students with registering for classes, connect them with other students and make them feel right at home here at UWRF. You'll also have the opportunity to lead a team of students, participate with them in orientation games and activities and spread your Falcon spirit!

Applications to be an OL are now open on Handshake.
