Why Study Sociology?

A social science concerned with the study of social life and the causes and consequences of human behavior, sociology combines concepts and theoretical frameworks with research and statistics to provide tools to investigate various aspects of society. As a sociology major, you’ll develop sought-after skills to prepare you for graduate school or roles in a diverse range of fields, including advocacy, social science research, management, public relations and more.
