Why Study Sociology?

A social science concerned with the study of social life and the causes and consequences of human behavior, sociology combines concepts and theoretical frameworks with research and statistics to provide tools to investigate various aspects of society.   • Understand the complexities of social life, both domestically and globally, and diversity and its relationship to social status and power.
