Student Life
You Belong Here
You're home at UWRF and we’re committed to making you feel that way. We're striving to build an inclusive campus and part of that includes taking steps every day to make change and do better.
Where We Stand
Six core values are at the center of everything we do here at UWRF: student centered, academic excellence, inclusiveness, innovation, global engagement and integrity. For us, inclusiveness means we’re committed to building a community where everyone feels valued, respected and safe. We’re working hard to close the equity gap by dedicating resources as part of our everyday commitment to education, outreach and change.
Resources
Our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Office helps support development of an inclusive campus and offers empowering learning opportunities that encourage identity development and multicultural awareness. Have questions or want to get involved? Reach out to our team at inclusion@uwrf.edu.

Identity-Based Orgs
Whether it’s through a shared identity or a shared experience, coming together with your peers is an important part of the college experience. Identity-based student organizations help you meet new people and learn from fellow Falcons.

Student Success
Our Student Success Center is home to a number of programs and services all with one common goal - your success! We work hard to personalize opportunities and support so you can find your own path to success.

Aspire Program
A program for first-year students, Aspire is your starting point for a successful college career. With the help of upperclass mentors, you’ll find a supportive community while learning strategies and skills to succeed in college.

McNair Scholars Program
The McNair Program helps students excel as undergraduates, succeed in graduate school and ultimately earn a doctoral degree.
Experience the World Around You
With a full slate of programming designed to celebrate our students’ identities, cultures and history, our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Office is committed to providing diverse experiences. We honor and celebrate various history and heritage months and regularly present workshops, speakers, leadership training, volunteer opportunities and more.
